In this Privacy Policy, "we", "us", "our" and "the Company" refer to Tawseel, a company registered in the Sultanate of Oman with its registered office at Unit no. 8, Building no. 5, Sector 3, Al-Qurum, Al-Nadha Street, Al-Asfoor Plaza, PO Box: 579, Muscat, Oman. "You" and "your" refer to any person who visits, registers on, or places an order through this website (the "Website").

We are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have over it. It is issued in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law of the Sultanate of Oman (Royal Decree No. 6/2022) and its Executive Regulations, and with the Electronic Transactions Law (Royal Decree No. 69/2008). 2. Personal data we collect

We collect only the data we need in order to sell and deliver to you:

  • Identity and contact data — name, mobile number, email address.
  • Delivery data — governorate, wilayat, way/building number, landmark and any delivery instructions you give us.
  • Order data — the products you buy, order value, payment method and order history.
  • Payment data — we do not store your card details. Card payments are processed by our licensed payment gateway; we receive only a transaction reference and its result.
  • Technical data — IP address, device and browser type, and cookies (see section 7).

3. Why we use your data (lawful basis)

  • To perform the sales contract with you: process orders, take payment, deliver goods, and handle returns and refunds.
  • To meet legal obligations: issue tax invoices and retain accounting records as required by the Oman VAT Law (Royal Decree No. 121/2020) and applicable commercial law.
  • To provide customer support and respond to complaints.
  • With your consent, to send you offers and marketing messages. You may withdraw that consent at any time (see section 6) without affecting your ability to shop with us.

4. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where necessary, and only to the extent necessary, with:

  • Delivery partners — your name, address and phone number, so your order can be delivered.
  • Payment service providers — to process and verify your payment.
  • Competent authorities — where we are required to do so by Omani law or a lawful order.

Where a service provider is located outside the Sultanate of Oman, we transfer your data only in accordance with the requirements of the Personal Data Protection Law.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. Order, invoice and tax records are retained for the period required by Omani tax and commercial law. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights

Under the Personal Data Protection Law you have the right to:

  • be informed about how your data is used;
  • access the personal data we hold about you, and obtain a copy of it;
  • have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected;
  • request deletion of your data, subject to our legal retention obligations;
  • withdraw your consent to marketing at any time;
  • object to processing, and to complain to the competent authority in Oman.

7. Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in, to remember your cart and language preference, and to understand how the Website is used so we can improve it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; if you do, parts of the Website (such as the cart and checkout) may stop working.

8. Security

The Website is served over encrypted HTTPS. We apply technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security; if a breach affecting your personal data occurs, we will notify you and the competent authority as required by law.

9. Children

The Website is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page and takes effect when posted.

11. Governing law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with it is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Muscat.
